IBM Watson Experience Center.
Permanent Installation
In the second half of 2014, I collaborated with director Jesus de Francisco at Mirada, leading a team of animators to create the interactive experience at the IBM Watson Experience Center in downtown Manhattan. For the interactive installation, I helped translate the animations into code working with engineers. We distilled the complex concept of IBM’s Watson and its role in industry partnerships to design an immersive narrative. This allowed visitors to the 10,000 SqFt Center in Cooper Square, NYC, to take a guided tour through a fully interactive environment that showcases the possibilities of cognitive computing and the experience of working with Watson.
The project was executed in direct collaboration with the IBM Watson Group, led by Dario Gil, alongside ECDs Susana Rodríguez de Tembleque and Mark Podlasek, and with technology support from Oblong Industries.
